Postdoctoral Research Associate in Systems and Control Theory (f/m/d) 25-03-03
- part-time 40-50% (15,8 - 19,75 h/week) -
Your tasks:
- Studying the analytical and spectral properties of differential operators from mathematical physics
- Generalization of fundamental concepts of classical system and control theory to infinite-dimensional systems
- Various projects are available for specialization:
- Dynamic systems described by PDEs on networks
- Stability and spectral theory of operators in Hilbert space
- Mathematical control theory
- Documentation of project results in LaTeX and publication in international journals
Your profile:
- You have a master's degree, ideally a doctorate, in mathematics, theoretical physics, cybernetics, or a related field
- You possess sufficient expertise in the areas of system and control theory, PDEs, complex and functional analysis, fundamental operator theory, and spectral theory
- You have the ability to conduct high-quality research and publish in renowned international journals
- You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team
- You have excellent English language skills, both written and spoken (German skills are welcome but not necessarily required)

The position is limited to 12 months.
The position will be classified in pay group 13 of the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L), provided that the legal and personal requirements are met.
